Your holiday starts here.

Saturday, September 3

Start Labor Day weekend right by picking up favorites like hot dogs and other grillin’ meats (and veggies!), buns, corn, peppers, tomatoes, lettuce, peaches, melons, cucumbers, herbs, desserts, and much more at PRFM. And don't miss the 10:00 a.m. Chef Demo with Adrian Villarreal of Rreal Tacos for some more summertime fun! Villarreal's midtown taqueria draws inspiration from his hometown of Monterrey, Mexico, 15 years of culinary experience, and fresh, responsibly-sourced seasonal ingredients.

Wednesday, September 7

On Wednesday, grab a Tropicalia or Bibo & Athena from Creature Comforts and think back fondly on your holiday. Also, don't forget to grab something tasty from any one (or  many) of these lovely folks: 100% Artisan Foods, Banjo Coffee, CrepeMasters, Fairywood Thicket, Flora & Flour, Garlic Clove Foods, Golda Kombucha, Heritage Farm, K-Teas, King of Pops, Lisa Rochon Cuisine, Little Tart Bakeshop, Pine Street Market, Revolution Doughnuts, S&Js Pizza, Souper Jenny, TGM Bread, and The Spotted Trotter.

And your Veggie Throwdown winner is...

At the height of summer harvest, four chefs got three mystery ingredients and prepared their dishes at the Market. Shoppers tasted and voted for their favorite dish. Our contest chefs: Jenn Robbins, George Yu, Rusty Bowers, and Jenny Levinson. Our crowned winner: Chef George Yu of Makan in Decatur. Congrats, Chef Yu!
